New Exam Pattern and Syllabus for SBI PO Recruitment 2025
The SBI PO Syllabus 2025 Selection Process. The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the revised exam pattern for the Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment in 2025. The selection process comprises three stages:
- Preliminary Examination,
- Main Examination, and
- Interview
1. Preliminary Examination
- The Preliminary Exam is an online objective test consisting of three sections, with a total duration of 60 minutes. Each section is timed separately.
- There will be a negative marking for each wrong answer is 1/4.
- The total duration time is 60 minutes for SBI PO preliminary exam and 20 minutes for each section.

2. Main Examination
The Main Examination consists of two parts:
- SBI PO mains exam is a total of 250 marks objective paper is 200 marks and descriptive paper is 50 marks.

- a Descriptive Test. The Objective Test is conducted online, followed by the Descriptive Test.
- There will be negative marking in objective test is 1/4 for each wrong answer.

- Personal Interview
1. Psychometric Test
The Bank will conduct a Psychometric test for personality profiling, of those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase-III. Findings of the test may be placed before the Interview panel for having a thorough perspective on the candidates.
