इसमें कालगत परिस्थितियाँ और साहित्य पर उसका प्रभाव, प्रत्येक युग के साहित्य की प्रमुख प्रवृत्तियाँ, प्रमुख रचनाकार एवं उनकी रचनाएँ, साहित्यिक विशेषताएँ, और भाषा-शैली पर चर्चा की जाएगी।
