Selection Process in Indian Navy SSC Officer Latest Syllabus 2025
- Shortlisting of application will be based on normalised marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree.
- For candidates who have completed or are in the final year of BE/ B.Tech, marks obtained up to fifth semester will be considered for SSB shortlisting.
- Candidates selected in the final merit list will be required to submit proof of completing the qualifying degree with a minimum of 60%.
SSB Interview For Indian Navy SSC Officer Latest Syllabus 2025
The SSB interview spans five days to assess various aspects of a candidate’s personality and aptitude:
- Stage 1: Screening
- Verbal and Non-Verbal Tests: Assess analytical and reasoning skills.
- Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT): Candidates write a story based on a shown picture and participate in a group discussion.
- Stage 2: Psychological Tests
- Thematic Apperception Test (TAT): Candidates create stories based on pictures.
- Word Association Test (WAT): Immediate responses to words are recorded.
- Situation Reaction Test (SRT): Reactions to various situations are noted.
- Self-Description Test (SD): Candidates provide insights into their own personalities.
- Stage 3: Group Testing Officer (GTO) Tasks
- Includes group discussions, group planning exercises, progressive group tasks, half group tasks, individual obstacles, command tasks, snake race/group obstacle race, individual lecturette, and final group tasks.
- Stage 4: Personal Interview
- Focuses on general knowledge, current affairs, and personal background.
- Stage 5: Conference
- A final assessment where the board reviews the candidate’s performance across all stages.
Merit List For Indian Navy SSC Officer Latest Syllabus 2025
Merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks for all entries as per availability of vacancies and medical clearance for respective entry.- Candidates declared fit in medical examination would be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the entry.
